This is a sponsored blog post, thanks to Steak ‘n Shake. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Many kiddo’s have headed back to school already, luckily mine has a little over a week left of his break. So we decided to have a mommy and me date! We have spent the whole Summer together, but we never took just time out away from the house just us time. We stopped by our local Steak ‘n Shake to check out their Kid’s Eat Free Program.
I am a huge fan of Steak ‘n Shake, not only for this program but their choice of shakes! I can’t lie, the little guy and I are shake lovers. His choice is pretty much always Vanilla with sprinkles, which Steak ‘n Shake has a Birthday Cake Shake! My choice is usually Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. 😛
The Kid’s Eat Free Program is on the weekends which is great for Family time now with school starting back. I know it takes our family a couple weeks to get in a new schedule with school. So a nice dinner out with the family is great. You get 1 Kid’s Plate with ever $9 spent. * The plate does not include drinks or shakes, is dine-in only and for children 12 years old and under. Saturday and Sunday only. * I love the little hats that they get when you dine in. And the kids have enough to do to keep busy. They get a cardboard card to put together with stickers. (I think there are 3 you can collect) And of course, you get your kid’s menu listing all the yummy foods and shakes, on the back has a crossword, word search, maze and more!
We chose some mini corndogs and since one came out like a little nugget, they actually made him more, so he got double! I chose some Chicken Fingers with buffalo and ranch sauces. We had the sweetest of servers, she was awesome and we really enjoyed our time. The restaurant was well kept and the employees were all smiling. Our hardest time was just us picking through all the choices of food and shakes. 😉
